  • No Minimums: Order as few or as many items as you need. We're happy to embroider a single scrub top or a thousand.

  • Logo Setup Fee: There is a one-time $60.00 setup fee to digitize your custom logo for embroidery. (This fee may be waived with certain Uniform Programs that run on the Uniform Stores platform)

  • Free Shipping for bulk orders (Scrub Authority only): All orders over $250 qualify for free shipping, just like our blank orders.

Embroidery vs. DTF (Direct To Film)

What is DTF (Direct to Film)?

DTF, or Direct to Film printing, is a textile printing technique where designs are printed onto a special film and then transferred to a garment using heat and pressure. It's a versatile method that allows for vibrant, durable prints on a variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends, regardless of color.

When to consider DTF

  • Your logo has very fine details that you want recreated as closely as possible to your digital logo

  • Your logo has fine text that you want to be as crisp as possible

  • Your logo has color gradient that you would like maintained on uniforms

  • Cost is a key consideration and you’d like a more economical way to put your logo on uniforms

Here is a side-by-side comparison of the same logo created using each method:

DTF Durability and Care Instructions

DTF is designed to outlast the planned garment lifespan of all major scrub brands so long as it is cared for properly. All garments with DTF logos should be washed and dried on “no heat” or “low heat” settings. To maximize DTF logo lifespan, garments should be turned inside out before being washed and dried.

Embroidery & Personalization Best Practices

It’s best practice to use a thread color for your embroidery that contrasts with the color of the fabric that it will be sewed on. For example, if your logo is navy and your uniform program has navy scrubs, we would recommend altering your logo embroidery color to a lighter thread to contrast on the color of the darker navy scrubs.
